Text description provided by the architects. In the neighborhood of Alagoas, in the midst of hastily erected buildings where all seems precarious and haphazard, we expected a clear and luminous novelty. Surprisingly, the ABA is black. Where all colors fade only black can speak of color.
The ABA welcomes its opposite, cures wounds with the harpoon that caused them and transforms hostility into its very strength. The ABA speaks of life in a wordless idiom.
Extended, not domesticated, the ABA scorns forced harmony. The ABA responds harshly to a harsh social situation. Where it seems vanquished it rises up in all its beauty.
